About
Creating pathways where educators and students thrive together.

Who am I?
I’m Hannah Frohne, a music educator, flautist, and studio teacher based in Whitewater, Wisconsin. My journey in music education blends performance with a passion for teaching learners at all stages of their musical development.
Currently pursuing my Bachelor of Music Education with an Instrumental Education Emphasis at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, I’ve maintained Dean’s List status throughout my academic career while actively building my teaching experience.
My teaching portfolio spans diverse age groups—from preschoolers to adults—through programs including UWW’s Sounds N’ Visions, UWW Flutapolooza, World Drumming at Fairhaven, and Monday Funday Learning at Southern Lakes Area Love, Inc. I currently maintain a growing flute studio working with middle and high school students across Southern Wisconsin.
As a performer, I’ve played in solo, chamber, and large ensemble settings throughout Wisconsin and neighboring states. Among my performance highlights are appearing with the UW-Whitewater Flute Choir at the 2022 National Flute Association Conference and performing with UW-Whitewater’s Symphonic Wind Ensemble at Carnegie Hall in March of 2025.
I believe in creating connections between educational theory and practical application, sharing resources that empower both educators and students to discover their unique musical voices. Whether you’re a fellow teacher seeking fresh approaches or a student looking to deepen your musical journey, I’m delighted to share this space with you.

What is Rose Music Education?
Rose Music Education is my passion project—a growing resource hub designed to nurture musicians and educators at every stage of their journey. As the founder, I’m committed to building this collection of practical tools and insights that help both instructors and learners flourish.
Whether you’re a classroom teacher seeking fresh ideas, a studio instructor building your private practice, or a student navigating an undergraduate music education degree, you’ll find resources tailored to your needs. From lesson plans and presentation templates to practice journals and repertoire guides, I’m curating materials that address real teaching and learning challenges.
This site is just beginning to bloom. I’m adding new resources weekly as I balance this project with my own teaching and performance work. For students considering music education as a career path, I’ll be sharing insights on degree requirements, experiences, and the transition from student to educator.
Rose Music Education grows from my belief that when educators have access to quality resources, students ultimately benefit. Please check back frequently to see updates and join me on my musical journey!
